Take a Dip

The weather has been hot but breezy today.  The kids have been begging me since it has been warm if they could go swimming in the sandbox that I turned into the pool.

It took Baby Hulk a bit to warm up to the idea of the pool since his last encounter with the sprinkler.  But as soon as he did I couldn't get him out of it. He spent most of the time throwing all the toys around our yard into the pool making varies size splashes and soaking either Wonder Girl or Dare Devil Boy.

My Dare Devil Boy played in the pool with his siblings, but at some point he decided to shed the Dare Devil identity and put on a cape (aka towel).  Then began running or flying around our yard.  he even made an attempt at flying off the slide.

All in all it was a nice warm, hot spring day.  It makes me wonder though what will our summer be like since spring days are at 90 degrees?  Well until then we are going to enjoy the weather.

Skipping to Summer

It is April and the last few reminders of winter is almost gone here.  Actually Spring somehow only made a few days apperence before it started to feel more like summer.  But does that bother me and my kids? Nope.

Much like me in this way, my kids went outside to play in the sun, climb a tree and we even broke out the sprinkler for some time in the water.  Not everyone like the water though.  My Baby Hulk actually didn't know what to think about it and wasn't happy when he went to finally try to play in it.

Hulk Baby telling asking me what is that.

Baby Hulk tried the water.  He didn't like it.
This great weather gave Daddy, Spider-Dad, a chance to do some outdoor fixing up around the house.  Cutting the grass, trying to keep the ants out of the house, and fixing things around the house.  Of course while he was fixing things around the house my curious little Super Heroes couldn't help wanting to help him.

Baby Hulk curious on what Daddy is doing.

When Daddy walked away to get something, Baby Hulk thought he'd fix it himself.

Later Wonder Girl came to help.

Tea and Fish

Since little Wonder Girl's birthday she has been playing about everyday with a tea set that was given her.  She has managed to get almost everyone in the family to play with her.  Which has been great way to introduce manners to her and her older brother.

As you can see in our of the pictures on of the things on the menu at her tea party one day was fish.  Not to tea but to drink.  I took the chance to teach some colors with her.  She had a good time and didn't even realized that she was learning.

Even Daddy and brother got into playing

Later on during that week she decided to go our side and try fishing in a mud puddle in our yard.  I don't think she caught anything.  Which was good cause it meant that I didn't have earthworms coming in the house that day.

Adventures with an Orange

So yes I have my weird and odd moments like everyone else and this is one of them.  Lately my kids have been on an orange eating kick.  That and the fact that they are in season right now.

Well one day I was playing around with my Wonder-girl daughter and this is what cam out of it.  My odd and silly Orange.

This is Mr. Happy.  He is happy.

But he's not always happy there are days his is very sad.

But today he is happy.
The end.

Its All Roman To US

The last few weeks we have been working our way through Ancient Rome.  Which means we will be finishing up our school year soon.  Here are a few pictures of some of our projects that we did.

Toga Party! Well not really, just dressing up.
Our roman sandels.
A picture of just the sandels. They didn't last long but the kids loved playing with them.
